Overton Square Redevelopment

We contacted representatives of the developer who is looking at redeveloping Overton Square as mentioned in the following newspaper article.  http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/aug/26/overton-square-demolition-eyed/.  The representatives were pleased to hear from us, and assured us they would contact us 45-60 days prior to seeking final approval for their plans.

The redevelopment plans are still in the feasibility stage, but do include retail and restaurant space along Madison, a sitting area and retail/restaurant space at the corner of Cooper and Madison, and an "upscale" grocery store.

We will keep you posted of developments.  In the meantime, you may want to look at relevant links on the neighborhood Yahoo! Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EENA/links.
